Dawson Street Delights is a two hour tour that covers the most important landmarks on North Dawson Street. We'll discuss the general architectural styles found in Thomasville, and look at examples of Greek Revival, High Victorian, Regency Revival, and other styles found on the street. Throughout the tour, you'll learn about the history of Thomasville, from it's plantation and pioneer beginnings to the heyday of the second Hotel era. We'll find the home of Thomasville's most famous baseball player, peak at a presidential hideaway, and marvel at Queen Anne architecture at its finest.
